I've owned four Dale Stahl bows and I'm sorry to say I've let all four of them go, although one was too heavy for me at 57#@28" and had to go. The first one I bought was sort of Plain Jane T/D recurve with a Bubinga riser with gray actionwood center stripe and red elm limbs. It was a great shooting bow. I sold it to the owner of The Archery Shop that I frequent and I've tried numerous times to buy it back to no avail.
The second was the 57#@28" that was a beautiful bow. It had a Zebrawood riser and actionboo cores with Zebrawood veneers.
The third and fourth were a T/D recurve with Bocote riser and actionboo limbs stained a honey color and a D/R hybrid 60" longbow with a Bocote riser and actionboo cores and Bocote veneers. Both bows were 48#@28" and were great shooting bows. At present I have three recurves, a new Mariah Thermal, a new to me Schafer Silvertip and a new to me RER T/D recurve. The bows are all in my sweet spot range of 46-48#@28" and they all shoot great.
With that being said, I can see me adding a fourth at some point in the future if I see a Dale Stahl recurve on the market that is 62" and 46-48#@28". Dale's bows are not only beautiful and very well built, they are great shooters to boot.
