Florida hunting area
«
on:

My wife wants to get a winter place in Florida. Our daughter lives in the Orlando area.
I'm looking for a place that would be close to a good hunting area, and I could shoot my recurve without any hassles.
Any suggestions on an area to start looking into would greatly be appreciated.
Thanks
Fred

My mother used to live in Ocala and there is an archery club on the east side of town and you have the Ocala National Forest to hunt. Also every spring there is the Traditional Bowhunters of Florida has there shoot east of Ocala in the Ocala National Forest. Mike in Ohio

Ocala, Clearmont, Gainsville are close to Orlando and hunting areas.
