What do these spine to ? is this the equivalent to 35 55 lb approx ? if so does anyone have experience using  equivalent shafting ...gold tip etc  ?
i'm trying to get some carbons to shoot out of my Hills style bows 52# @ 27 " but still keep them cut to 28" or 28.5 " . this way i can get 'em outta a back quiver !
i don't mind high high FOC  but don't really want these to be extra heavy . would like to keep them at roughly 525 / 540 gns .....
any assistance appreciated .

My data says the deflection is.487 and if I devide that deflection into 26 I come out with woodies that would be 53.38#.  Which I have shot alot. so I would say yes they are around 50# spine depending on point weight.  I shoot from time to time heritage 150's with 145 head out of a stewart longbow and they fly great, weigh around 530 grains 28 " arrow. The Stewart is center shot though and those types of bows are more forgiving of spine.  I'm sure they will work you just have to mess with the point weight, your bow will be more particular about spine.  The other manufacturers arrows should perform in a similar manner.

Hope this helps

Out of your Hill stlye bow with the weight you are shooting you will need 275 to 325 up front for good flight. I Shoot them cut to 29.5"s(I draw just shy of 29"s)out of my high performance curves with 175 up front. My bows are 54-56#s at my draw length. Shawn
