Mahaska Javelina Hunt Openings

Kent Ostrem of Mahaska Custom Bows (and a sponsor here) has openings for javelina hunters in January and February.

The ranch is located in west Texas, about an hour's drive from El Paso.  Limited openings are for the following hunts:      

January 16th thru 20th.

February 18 thru 22nd.

February 28th thru March 4th.

Hunts are only $420.  With a 45-dollar license (plus a 5-dollar bowhunting stamp) you're allowed two javelina.  The ranch is 32-square miles of mountains and high desert-like country.  Lots of javelina.
