Looks like a blob of concrete that got dumped in water and then set up...

I agree about the meteorite and checking it with a magnet but I think that while I've heard most meteorites do have metal, I think I've heard that some do not.  May not be a 100% reliable test.

I've come to believe that the keys to shooting well for me are good form, trusting the bow to do all the work, and having the confidence in the bow and myself to remain motionless and relaxed at release until the arrow hits the mark.

I have a couple of them and the magnet does stick to most of the ones I have seen. That would be a good find if it is really a meteorite.

I would be tempted to forge it into broadheads with special powers, sort of like Jim Bowie's meteorite knife in "The Iron Mistress" movie.

I sent the pic to my Pop, he's a rock hound.
I'll let you know if he can determine anything from the picture.
Can you scratch it with a knife blade>  For this type of test you should have a fresh surface so you aren't just scratching the deteriorated surface.

I did'nt find anything as enteresting as that but about 20 years ago.While following an 8 point one night I found a high country and  8 arrows with 4 blade rocky mountains.Beat to peices bent arrows and all.Olny thing any good was the sight and and it had been steped on.
