The bucksuede is burr resistant and water resistant.  After a few years, the fabric lets in more and more water.  The bucksuede feels very cold when the temperature drops.  I prefer wool even in 50 degree weather.  I cannot really say great things about my clothes since the stitching came undone in a short time.

Saturday morning it was 15 degrees at my huntig camp. I put on a medium weight set of Smartwool longjohns, my DayOne wool bibs with windblocker, the wool pullover with windblocker and my fleece stocking cap.  I was good for the entire hunt.

I still have my SI wool, but I wear it now in moderate temps and go to the DayOne once it gets below 25.

I have an entire set (hat, pullover with high collar, vest and pants) in fleece. Very high quality and extremely quiet. I also have a suede or saddlecloth jacket. I have never worn the jacket but would trade it for more fleece as I love the quiet performance. ASAT is a great pattern too, I had 4 or 5 deer walk within 20 yards of me and either not notice me at all or when they did look at me, got the curious/confused look and just stared for several seconds. Not once did I have a close encounter where a deer spooked from me. I would recomend that if you buy the 1/4 zip high collared shirt, that you buy it one size larger than you need. I did and can wear the fleece as an outside layer for the camo even though it gets too cold for just fleece in Michigan. I love the high collar, best selling point besides camo to me.

Got my Dayone today and the wool insulated parka is very very warm. Even though a little bulky since i ordered it bigger it still is comfortable. Wore it today for a couple hours with nothing but a t shirt under it and it is 18 degrees windy out. Stayed warmer than ever. The Bucksuede pants came in too little don't match my pants size. Have to sell them !
