Ground-hunting setups
« on: April 11, 2007, 02:20:00 PM »
Hey guys, this will be season 1 for me with trad gear and I think I am going to concentrate on ground hunting. Now I have hunted whitetails for some 17 years now but with a bow, almost all of it had come from a treestand. I would be interested in hearing how you guys set up for ground hunting. What type areas do you look for, do you use pop-up blinds, natural blinds, stalk hunt or ambush?

Do you have similar success on the ground vs. tree stand?

Oh yeah, any pics of game taken from the ground is welcomed.

It doesn't matter how or what you shoot, as long as you hit your target.

I will give thanks to the LORD because of his righteousness and will sing praise to the name of the LORD Most High.
