Bear hunters wanted last week of June
« on: April 11, 2007, 06:37:00 PM »
I'm looking for a couple or 4 quality traditional bowhunters to participate in a spring bear hunt in Quebec, this is the 3rd time I've hunted with Ron Henry's bear camps and think it is a great bang for the buck. I have booked the Black River camp and large cabin for the last week of June.

The hunt is bow only and is cabin accomodation $600 US + tags and food. Date is June 24th-30th during the rut. I've always seen bears here and good ones at that. cantact me for more information

Long as I can hike the hills and walk among the trees
I keep on trying
My goals are high but I don't care
The fun is in the getting there, it justifies the end
So try, try again

Just a note, I'm not getting a free hunt or anything for adding hunters, I just told Ron I would have 6 to 8 hunters and I am a couple shy of what I said i would have, lost a couple last month to other obligations.

Thanks,

Greg

I'm still looking for a couple more guys, this is kind of a do DYI hunt, active baits are provided and we do the rest, bring you own stands or ground blinds and food. NO phones, or stores, just wilderness hunting.

Greg,
Were going to be up there the last week of May in the same camp I think.  You going to be at Compton this year? Dean

I'd go in a heartbeat if it wasn't such a long drive from Wy.

I can give a thumbs up for this hunt...I went with Greg's group last year.  It was a lot of fun.  Very remote yet a nice clean comfy camp to stay in.

Greg, previous obligations are all that keep me from calling you.  Sounds absolutely great!
