MAMBA vs. HATFIELD

Which one of these Martin bows would you rather have?  Which on shoots better?

You are comparing a 58" one piece bow to a 62" takedown.   Both are great bows, so I guess it depends on intended usage.  Personally, I would take the T/D for all around use; for just hunting the Mamba.

I like the Mamba for its simplicity, compactness, and ease of carry and handling. It's also a bit cheaper on the used market.

If it's going to be your only bow, the Hatfield may be best for all around use, including traveling or target/3-d use.

I like the shorter Mamba 58",a fast and sweet bow.Like said if you plan to travel with it and have a long draw I would go with the Hatfield with it being 4" longer.But I'm partial to one piece bows,just a personal preference.

I would go with the Mamba, I just like a 58" bow, If your going to travel at all, the 3 piece Hatfeild is the way to go.... I still like the Mamba...

The Mamba is a much better shooting bow, IMO.

I have owned both, and still have a Mamba.

Not trying to change the subject, but how large is the grip on a Mamba? How does the grip size compare to a Dream Catcher?

I never shot a Hatfield so I can not give you an honest opinion.I have shot a lot of Mambas,from 45#
to 60#,and they all were shooters. It is a design
that was started in the late 50's and has quite a history behind it.If they were good enough to send to Vietnam and to leave an athlete shoot a flaming arrow through the Olympic hoop,they would work for
me.

I have a Mamba, Ventura, Hunter and a Diablo. The Mamba is my go to bow because of its length and speed.
