New Bow Day! BAMA HUNTER
« on: December 16, 2009, 02:56:00 PM »
I took advantage of Bama Bows Holiday Sale on and picked up this 55# 65" Hunter model. Kind of unique as most of their Hunters are 68" and I wanted a shorter longbow for hunting.

This is my first longbow. It probably won't be the last one I buy but it is all the bow I'll ever need. It is extremely light, smooth all the way to my 30" draw, and fast.

After a couple days of shooting I've got it tuned up and have been able to adjust to it. In fact, I think I was meant to shoot a longbow. I can't put it down now!

Amazing customer service. Nate is a pleasure to do business with and they fully back their bows to the original purchaser.

Shoots like a dream with a BOA attached. I think I'm going to start small-game hunting with it in January after I've shot it awhile.

LOL.

I added a Web page for them. You know...it was shipped out of Tulsa Oklahoma. Maybe they started in Alabama?

Great looking bow. I looked at them pretty hard before I got my Crooked Stic. They seem like a very nice bow, and at a reasonable price too.

I can't believe what I paid for it new for how nice it is. The custom models are a bit higher but the basic Hunter model only goes for $279.

They cleared a few bows out on evil-bay. I was lucky enough to get one.
