Which Quiver for Browning Bow

I have an old Browning Recurve Bow it is a Fury 1 it had bushings on the outside of the limbs (belly) what quivers will bolt onto this bow,, This old Browning has stood the test of time still looks and shoots good ,,50@ 28/ 54"amo it also has a stabilizer bushing ,Who built this bow for browning (wing perhaps?)  :confused:

I collect and shoot Browning recurves from the 60's and 70's.  I have a couple of the old Browning quivers manufactured during that period.  They do not work as well as the present quiver designs.  I prefer to use Great Northern or Selway quivers on my Brownings.  I would suggest a Great Northern strap on or Selway with the screw on caps.

Browning built their own bows (as far as I know), in plants in both Utah and in San Diego California. I have an old Explorer 2 48# @ 28" from the mid 60's, and it is a Wicked nice shooter. IMHO, the old Browning recurves are as nice or better quality than the other top brand bows made during that era.

If the riser is drilled and tapped, you can use a Kwikee bow quiver. They come with a bracket that allows you to remove the quiver when in stand.

Alternative, I used a GN Adjustable on my Browning Cobra, works fine. The Kwikee quiver is less money, holds 5 arrows with a deep hood to protect the heads.

The riser is not tapped the limbs are tapped  at about the fade outs I have seen riser tapped but not limbs thought someone might have run across this i am useing a old 2 piece kwikee quiver but it has no protection from broadheads I use this Bow  sometime when snowshoeing and Beaver Hunting and would like somekind of quiver that would bolt onto limbs

Gordon; I would ONLY carry Judo's or blunts in that old style Kwiki exposed quiver. Because if you bump your leg or whatever with a uncovered razor sharp broadhead deep in the woods, you might end up in serious trouble. Use a cover for sharp objects and be safe!
