Cedars and the Cold

I am planning on going over to our bow club tomorrow to try out my latest batch of cedars. It is going to be around 28 deg tomorrow.

Has anyone ever had any problems with their cedars in extreme weather conditions or will they perform as well as any other material??

Nope. I shoot them down to 0* or so, any colder than that and I wuss out    :readit:

In my experience, in cold weather, cedar arrows work better than my fingers!

Naw, go and have some fun, shot a deer last year it was -35 degrees outside, went right through and stuck in the frozen ground and the arrow went on to hunt some more. This year I took my 2 deer and 2 turkeys, shot 1 badger and also a coyote, used 2 cedar arrows so far.

Never had a problem. Missed while on 3D range and arrow spent a few minutes in the snow. No problem with it.

shot at a shoot one time that had cedar bales for the target butts.  It was near 0, and the bales had been wet.  Yep they were big blocks of ice and the arrows did not like them.  LOL
