My problem is that I am built like a barrel with
short arms and legs---so I mostly have to try stuff on and usually have a hard time getting a comfortable and proper fit.It looks like I borrowed my much older brothers clothes [lol]--if you know what I mean.Layering does work though.

I just received my Asbell mackinaw pullover yesterday. I have not hunted it yet but so far I think I made a great purchase.
I was not aware that the mackinaw/hood cape is a separate piece when I bought it but I like this feature as it could be added or removed as needed.  The wool they use is fairly light, about the weight of a 'heavy' shirt.  It is not nearly has heavy or substancial as my KOM trapper but perfect for a cool morning or could be used as an outter layer with a wool vest underneath as it gets colder.  It's a great value. I may get the vest as well.

I have one of Teresa's and for Christmas I just got one of Ron's. I like both of them and consider both to be of high quality. We don't get too much really nasty cold here in Georgia, so its easy to layer up lightly under this weight garment and stay really comfortable.

I just received the Mackinaw and have since hunted in it and here my first impression: First it was as mentioned a lighter weigth than expected but will work great for this region Second it was large enough (Large) to layer underneath until I SHRUNK IT BY TUMBLE DRYING IN THE DRYER ON KNIT/DELICATES    :readit:   Oh well after rewashing and blocking I was able to pull it out some but not to original size, I may be able to layer one or two thin layers and should get by if not I can buy another one. As for price it is very reasonable as long as you don't expect KOM/Day One type garments it is priced right for its intended purpose.
Everything I have and have become is due to the Lord and his great mercy.

I just received the Asbell pull over for Christmas(thanks mom!), the simple one without a hood. It's exactly what I was wanting. Its  perfect for a layer.

Now a thumbs up for service, it was order on a sunday nite on the website, shipped out monday and at the door by wed.  I will be ordering more very soon.

Hunted in my Asbell pullover and Asbell vest yesterday evening.  Temps. were in the 30's at dark and I was toasty warm.  I'm sure I would have been fine down into the mid 20's without any extra layering.  I only had a button up camo cotton shirt underneath them.  Great products and service as mentioned.
God is good, all the time!!!
