Christmas presents
« on: December 24, 2009, 11:41:00 AM »
Well, since tomorrow is a FULL day of travelling around to all the family's places that starts way too early, Santa always makes it to our house on Christmas Eve morning so we can have a day just for us.

I got a couple  GREAT presents from the wife and kids; some 200g Woodsmen Elites and the new 4 DVD set of all of Fred Bear's old movies!

The kids and I just got done watching "Kodiak Country".  It brought back tons of old memories of heading up to the museum on a rainy summer day from my grandparents place and watching the films in the theater there.  Walking around looking at all the mounts and artifacts; bumping in to Mr. Bear.  It is fascinating watching them as an adult and watching your kids be amazed by them as well.

What did you all receive?

I've got a new longbow coming from trad gang member jamed.  Probably won't make it here by Christmas, but worth the wait.  Oh well, I can still look at the pictures of it till it arrives!  Sure is pretty!

Rumor has it our Congress is shopping for a *really* expensive present for all of us!  I can't wait - hope it's a sweet custom bow or some nice wool or something.   Ooooo - I'm tingling!

The old Bear DVDs rock - maybe they will get us that.

My wife said I'm not getting anything for Christmas because I buy my own presents throughout the year. That's OK a little hunting equipment om clearance sale is the best present I can think of!

Hey Elf......I think you'll really be happy with that Stalker.  I have one and it ain't the fastest, or best bow I have, but it's the most fun to shoot.  Forget all the bad things you hear about short bows and get ready for some fun.  Merry X-Mas.....

I drive the wife crazy at christmas. It seems like everytime I want something and she decides to get it for me, I have already got one on order. I know I'm getting some base layers of some sort because she flat told me "NO" when I was looking at them last week  :D  ....Roy

New limbs for my Zipper SXT will be shipped soon. Close enough to count? I've saved up some coin and will be shopping at K-Zoo if the Doctors don't mess up January for me.
