An Early Donation for St. Jude Auction
«

I guess it's a combination of Christmas and just the giving spirit of the members of this site that has given me the idea to do this.
Some of you folks have been around long enough to remember Joe Mattingly. Joe was a great man and a true promoter of traditional archery. Anyway Joe got brain cancer and fought a good fight to the end.
We tried to help Joe as treatments were very costly. One of the fund raisers was a benefit auction held at the MoBoJam. A part of that auction was a complete (at the time) set of Traditional Bowyers Bibles and I won the bid.
The books were mailed around to some of the contributing writers to be signed eventually being mailed to me.
I've talked to Doug Cambell about my desire to donate these to be auctioned to raise funds for the St. Jude efforts. I will mail them to Doug anytime he's ready for them.
Merry Christmas! Thank you Tradgang Family for inspiring me in so many different areas of my life.
God bless,Mudd

Oh yea, like I said Roy, that'll be a great donation!! Please don't send them to me, when Auction time gets here we'll get them listed and you can send them to the winner when it's over.

Thanks Mike! It would be a great addition. Folks will get to bid on all 4 this way. It's like having a complete library on the art of Bowyering at your finger tips.
Thanks again Mike ! I sent you a PM with my address.

Mudd,
It's the least I can do. Joe was a good friend and bowyer mentor for me. So giving in his name makes me feel good.
Besides, they need the best of the collection in the pile. I did write one of the chapters you know. LOL
