Hog Hunting in Florida?
« on: December 29, 2009, 12:00:00 PM »
I'm taking the wife to Auburndale, Fl in late Feb or easly March for a with visit her aunt.
Does anyone know if there is a place to hog hunt near there? (Auburndale is between Orlando and Petersburg.

I am no Florida expert but Nicki Roth is somewhere in that general area but you have to catch the right weekend.

We have hunted with him and saw plenty of hogs.

we're headed to Ona, FL to hunt with David Mills (Team Struttin' Ruttin' N Reelin') on Jan 10th. I'll PM you his contact info. not sure how close you'll be to Ona but it's worth the call.

Thanks, Danny for the info. Looks like Ona is only about an hour from Auburndale. I'll give David a call as soon as I can finalize the date when we are going down. Good luck on your hunt, let me know how you do.
