I will be buying a DB blind soon it looks like the T2 base is 7'X 5' and the matrix is
5'X 5' which has the most room for two hunters, one shooting a recurve and the other filming?  What are the pors and cons of each?

You do not want the T2, it is near impossible to shoot out of as it tapers towards the top and with two guys you will have little room as it narrows quite a bit. Go with the Matrix or the T5 as this will give ya plenty of room for two shooters. Shawn

I bought a recurve light wieght Matrix from Bob Morrison. Plenty of room. I am 6' 02" and can stand up staight flat footed in the middle. Enough floor space to sleep in.

Bought the standard DB Matrix this spring and my buddy and I shoot/film with no problems.  We both shoot 58" bows. I can even shoot a 62" if I sit in the right spot. I am 6'1" and 225lbs and my buddy is 6'2" and 260lbs and we have plenty of room.  Great blind and very fun to hunt together and film.  Good luck.

I too have the regular matrix and there is plenty of room in it for two.i would also say that if you are going to be filming go with the matrix, the large window will probably allow the best oppurtunity to capture all the action, imo.

My son and I have the regular Matrix and the Recurve model. We usually hunt together from the Recurve model cause he is 6'4", but both models are plenty roomy enough for two to hunt from or to hunt and film. Can't give any comparisons to other blinds cause I haven't hunted from anything except the D.B. Matrix. Don't see any need to now.

I have a matrix and love it.  I have everything from a 54" recurve to a 68" longbow and shoot them all from it fine.  I think the Matrix is the better buy.

Thankx for the info.  Do I need to shoot through the screen or just the open window for turkeys?

For turkeys, just the open window.  For deer, the shoot through screen is necessary.

I also have the recurve height matrix, and it is a great product and well worth the extra cost over other brands I've seen and tried.

What is the difference between the recurve and the reg matrix?   There is also a model that the windows are opened by flaps instead of sliding open how do these two compair?    Thanks to all for there opinions.

You are referring to the T5 and that is a great blind as well, but the Matrix is the way to go. If ya are gonna just hunt turkeys the recurve model is the way to go, but for all around I would go with the regular Matrix as th erecurve model is quite a bit bigger and 4-5 pounds heavier. Shawn

Note of interest: My brother just got his Matrix back from Double Bull. He sent it to them to have the light weight carbon rods and new hubs installed. It was the regular Matrix when he sent it to them, but was the Recurve height when he received it back from them! I called Double Bull and found out that both models use the same shell. The only difference is the rod length.
The blind is longer now when packed for carrying, but it doesn't seem to be heavier. Probably cause he went from fiberglass rods to the lighter carbon rods. It is lighter than my Recurve model with the fiberglass rods, but not enough difference to me to pay the money for the carbon rods. ( I don't plan on packing the blind in more that 3/4 miles).
