It's almost done.....
« on: April 15, 2007, 02:02:00 AM »
well my bro and I have been working on our first ever trad bows-- a couple dryad bow blanks-- almost every weekend for a month now and they are almost complete. going to take some pics soon, but my digital camera went ka-put so i'll have to wait till the film develops at ol' wally-world.

cant wait to go shootin'.... i guess our next project is going to be make a few wood arras. i just have a quick question on that note however: our bows are going to be between 60-65# @ 26" (currently its 62.5 @ 20") so what kind of arra would be best suited for hunting...im talking wood wise here.? Who has them relatively cheap? i dont want to sound like a tight butt, but being a college students, getting ready for grad school, my bro and i are kinda strapped for cash.

Thanks for the help

Hello Pintail. I would go with  www.rosecityarchery.com.  I called them when I was looking for shafts they told me $24
