Hello I thought I would pass this along. I did a trade with Bowluvinman for a Mississippi Lake Longbow Mark 1 and all I can say is wow. This bow is extremely quick and very quiet..except for that ping ya get with Carbon. I do think these bows are a real gem waiting to be recognized..anyone else impressed with these bows?

I had one and liked it well enough, but I got a chance to trade it for a bow from a maker I was really looking for. Mine was quiet, but I only shoot woodies.

When I retired from the Army I had Jim build a bow for me as my gift to me. It has become my "go-to" bow. My other two longbows rarely see the woods.
By the way one of them is listed in the classifieds

I finished one of his bow blanks for my brother.
Well built, quick, and quiet.
It isn't fancy, it just works, and works well.
Jim is great to deal with, too.
