Need new string
« on: April 15, 2007, 01:00:00 PM »
Hello, I would like to put a new string on my recurve and would like to know if there are any tradganger's on here that make and sell custom bowstrings? I could probably go to the local archeryshop, but would rather keep my money within the tradgang community. They deal in modern archery equip anyway. Thank you.

Shawn, Did Rod start up again? He was out of it for awhile there. Chad makes very nice strings and you might also try Mountain Muffler. Great strings with built in wool puffs.

I would try TRADMALL.com

And buy a Dynaflyte Mountain Muffler string. They are super quiet and extremely fast. They don't stretch much either. They are a little pricey, something around $27. But they are worth it. I use them on my Zipper and my friend uses them on his Border, Thermal and his Zipper.

Best bet

Greg
We should have shotguns for this kind of deal.
