I got some disposable tyvex coveralls and did the same thing. Also, I think the "camo" safety orange vests look white to the deer. This year my son and I bowhunted during antlerless firearms season wearing the coveralls and hunter orange camo.

The deer seemed to look right through us. I also walked up on several turkeys.

NOTE: We hunted on private ground. I would not recommend wearing white during a firearms season for deer on public land.

I've thought about doing that with the desert camo that they wear in Iraq. Don't get much snow in Texas.

fnshtr has it right ont the blaze orange camo/

When snows on the ground it works just like snow camo.  It's also good in bare trees like aspen since the blaze orange against the sky is a lot less noticeable to deer than realtree or the other MIB (men in black) camos.

The top I made years ago was a pullover made from a sheet. Cut a hole to slip over my head, and used chimney soot for the camo. I remember it being colder than could be, and the deer were holding tight.

Don't have much snow in "Bama".
I have done the same thing, basically for the river swamp.  I've done it a bit with Tie Dyeing.  Comes up with some neat camo.
