Most of my camo jobs resemble Tippit's or Denny Sturgis. However, this summer I got some spray cans and did what i thought was a real nice job. Like tippit, the more like a shadow it looks the better. During the season my wife noticed my bow was very shiny. It turns out the paint I bought was semi gloss and not flat giving it a "sheen" in sunlight. In the dark times of early morning or late afternoon I was fine but not when the sun was shinning. I covered the limbs with cloth tape. The mistake I made was looking at the tops of the cans which show you the color and I didn't pay much attention to the label. Next time it will be camo did or FLAT paint.
By the way, those of you who have gone the dipped method, does the finish have any shine to it or not?
