Osage tree, believe it or not, I have seen two bucks in my life with double droptines. The first one was like 6 or 7 years ago....I was doing a little scouting in an area I don't hunt much during season. I remember it was the day before the dreaded gun season here. A MONSTER buck with double droptines walked by me unaware at under 15 yards while I stood helpless behind an old cypress stump with my bow in the truck! Bummer! When I first saw catfish hunter in July, I instantly remembered that deer. I don't know which one was bigger, but I know the first one I saw had more points, but they were not as long.
The story of catfish hunter is much more satisfying anyway, since I first saw him in July, then got a camtracker picture in August, and then killed him in early October. How often does that happen?!
