How did the CTA shoot go today. Let me guess it was way cold!!!Like to have made it but had kids B-ball game and went to work for a while after that.

Talked to one of the guys that went, said they had a pretty good day. I didn't get to go, and wouldn't you know it, they had blackberry pie
They got started around 10:00 after a lot of standing around the fire, couldn't imagine why!

Hey now far rider! Don't be telling that mess about us. That was in confidence
It was a good day. Started out cold. We shot 2 or 3 rounds. Good chili and cornbread and apple crisp. Mmm-mm-good. We had a river cane arrow making demo after lunch. It was a good time. Always is though.

I hate I missed it. I told myself I was going to get more involved this year and actually make some of these shoots. If the food was half as good as what shows up at the State shoot I can gaurantee it was good eatin'. I'll try to make the next one I guess.
