Come to think of it. I don't have that on my bow right now. I just painted it..

when we're shooting 3-D Big Al always quotes Clint Eastwood's Fistful of Dollars movie when someone hits the heart.

"the heart Ramone....don't forget the heart. aim for the heart or you'll never stop me."

"don't forget the heart"  is written on the top limb of my new Bob Lee LB limbs.

I was just kind of wondering how long ya'lls were. On my new bow, I'm getting "Stay Calm, Pick a Spot" and then my whole name, "Custom made for Blank Blank Blank" I started wondering if that was a little long...   :knothead:

Seen guys with entire bible versus written out. Lines from movies and books and one who had everyone he hunter with sign his bow. It's not for me but those who do write on there bows like it, I can see how it would act as coamo and anything the shooter perceives as increased Mojo can't be all bad. Kinda the modern primitive version of drawing a elk on the bow.

Bought a H.Hornbeam self bow a bunch of yrs ago and the limbs were just not right to me. Shot it for a while and spoke with the bowyer who had me send it back. There was something wrong and it got fixed. Bowyer added an inscription about things and the second time around. Don't remember it exactly, but it seemed to fit the situation and I never had it removed.

One is just my initials, the other is the phrase in my signature line.  Translates to:

"Lord save us from the arrows of the Hungarians" - I am of Hungarian lineage.

To me it is the Deer's prayer.....
"A sagittis hungarorum libera nos Domine"

I had Dave write "P,B & J" on my latest Schafer...for Paul, Bart and Jeff.
