Anyone watch Appalachian Outdoors?
« on: April 15, 2007, 09:48:00 PM »
If you get the Sportsman's Channel, do you watch Appalachian Outdoors? This is a pretty good show and the host, Curt Jayjohn shoots a Black Widow recurve. On the shows that I've seen, he hunts on private land as opposed to big name commercial ranches that you see on many other shows. I think he guides somewhere in Ohio.

I like the show primarily because he shoots traditional gear. He is a very good shot as well. On one show he made an incredible shot on a red stag that was trotting and I have seen another show where he gives shooting tips and shoots aerial targets.

Anyway, just thought you guys might want to check it out if you have'nt seen it.

It doesn't matter how or what you shoot, as long as you hit your target.

Curtiss Jayjohn and I met just because we spell our first names the same way. He is a great guy. He shoots a Widow because they sponsor him. He used(don't know if he still does) to guide whitetail hunts on Bob Evans Farms in Ohio. Serious trophy quality deer.
It is curious that physical courage should be so common in the world and moral courage so rare. ~Mark Twain
