I have been using all three fletch the same color for years. I find it easer to buy only one color and it makes repairs nicer. I started having a carnival effect on my arrows after beeing refletched. Here in my small town sometimes you just have to buy what is on hand, and 95% shoot plastic. It helps to watch the flight of the arrow too. I generaly have all white barbed or all yellow barbed.

One last thing - I only have 5 inch parabolics - Do you think 4 fletch and 5 inch is TOO MUCH FEATHER?

going to be shooting 750 grain arrows

I'm now shooting four fletch 4" parabolics. Does anyone know where I can buy low profile 4" nanners?

If perfect arrow flight is the number one factor in good penetration, then 5 inch 4 fletch should be ideal. I shoot 4  fletch 5 1/2 in. sheilds, flo. yellow here. Shows up better than pink for me. I think Badger Arrow will cut you 4" nanners, great guy to deal with.

I've been shooting 5" yellow shield cut for several years.

Cuts down on the feather inventory.

I use all one colour fletches.  Flo orange fletch and wrap is the best for my eye.  Did 3x4" for awhile, but 3x5" parabolics is what I settled on.  AMG's are the brightest IMO.
