Was working on arrows this weekend and one setup tuned nicely with a 145 grain point, which brings us to my bellyache. Judo Points are made
in 100 & 125 screw ons and 135 glue ons. To get a matching stumping arrow I had to take a 135 grain glue on, glue it on a broadhead adapter, then grind off the tip until I got a 145 grain head. At that, it was so long, it didn't fly as closely to the field points and BHs as I would like.
Considering how many of us shoot 140+ points and use arrows with screw in inserts, why isn't some enterprising Trad gear business-dude not building a heavier grass grabber stumping/small game point?
