Safety question

Ok so it occured to me yesterday while I am out stomping bunnies, I have a BH on the front of this arrow and I am stalking around with it. Being new to this thing I have to ask, should I be leaving the arrow in the quiver until spotting a rabbit? I don't want to have to post a picture of myself with a BH someplace it shouldn't be.  

It's probably a good idea to keep the arrow in your quiver until you spot the animal you want to shoot. i just read a srory less than a month ago on another forum about a guy who tripped and stuck the broadhead in his leg. He could not make it out and died from the injury.

I have still hunted to my treestand with a arrow knocked several times this year without any problems.

After reading about the guy dying i have stopped doing this.

It only takes about 5 seconds or less for me to knock a arrow so thats what i do now.

I have a single arrow sheath that ties off the the front of the top limb of the bow and holds the broadhead.  I hold the shaft in my hand and can draw and shoot that arrow with ease.  I carry the extra's in my quiver.

I teach IBEP, and always stress saftey.  You should not walk, stalk, run, or anything of the sort with an arrow nocked on the string.  I get reports every year of deaths and injuries, caused by this.  One guy said, "I've benn doing it for years and nothing happened, until...."
Be careful out there.
