Well I saw the show and it was great.
Man ted, that some nice looking deep woods and great looking staves/bow that where there.
I need to save up and try that one year. I can't wait till Saturday to see it again.
If You talk to the guys from Backlands, Please tell them I loved to Show and keep up the Great work.

I watched it as well and enjoyed it. I do wish that the show would have talked a little more about Gary and his business. The mountains around the guard station are beautiful and if you catch it right there are more wild mushrooms for the picking/eating than you can imagine. Oh yeah, being on the ground with a bear just a few yards away is a rush.

I loved the show! I DVRd it and made my family watch. My 7 year old thought the "pickin" and background music was great. If this hunt/bowbuilding week comes around again next year I AM GOING if they'll have me.

Sorry to say I have not seen it yet( no TV) Glad to hear it was good ( I worried about that) as I had no control what they put in.
No worries on the plug for Gary He knows that all the plugs go toward him , with out Gary this would not happen, without Gary,s knowledge and love of the bow, the bow build/ bearhunt would not happen.
Everything that comes to me gets passed to him .

Ted, I hope you did not misinterpret my post. It was intended to pump up Gary - nothing else.

Sal , that was a Honda 90 and I pushed him farther than I should have, good thing he's a skinny little fart.
No worries Rick , I was not offended in any way , just making sure the record is straight, Gary's the man when it comes to bears.

Dang! I've been in the woods so much that I missed the show. Did anyone record it?
Ted, I;m skinny? Short? It's alright, I'm about to hit a growth spurt.
I'll just carry the trail 90 after I grow up.

How about you just push me up that hill when you grow up Curtis.
That reminds me , speaking of growing up remember the fun we had ripping up that hill that one morning on the bikes , just like a couple of teenagers?
Start a hunt jar Jason, before you know it you will be there with us.

Remember? He11 yes I remember! I'm grinning ear to ear right now thinking about two over 40 guys(us) thrashing a couple of under-horsepower dirt bikes all the while reminescing about the "old days" when we were actually good dirt bike riders.

Ted, I talked to Mark Horne this morning. He recorded the bear hunt show. He's sending me a copy and I'll be glad to send it to you when I make myself a copy. It's always such a pleasure to be up there in bear camp. It'll be good to have some film to review from time to time. CK

Great Curtis glad Mark knows how to operate a recorder , heck I had to go to someone else's house to watch the show .
Gary did ask me about all those sliding tire burnouts on all the corners Hah!
Just seeing the show made me excited for spring bear and being back in there again.
