Contact Leatherneck, Longbowben, or Forestcreature1 as they live about 50 miles from Akron and could probably point you in the right direction.
Good luck,

None that I'm aware of. But I don't know much about the Akron area. We have Cabelas near us. But I probably have more trad gear in my basement then they have. Sorry I couldn't help.

I'm not aware of anything around Akron either. There is a Bass Pro Shop in Toledo but that's a pretty good ride from Akron and they probably won't have much trad stuff either.

I grew up in Akron. There's nothing around there that I'm aware of. Got a couple archery shops but nothing trad. If you're gonna be here over the weekend of the 29th you should take the 4 1/2 hour drive from Akron to Kalamazoo, MI. That is a great trad event and there will be some excellent speakers there this weekend. Go to GNBCO.com for details if you're interested.

Where's Bob Morrison's shop in relation to Akron?
How about Brandon Stahl's Rose Oak shop?

Morrison is near Columbus, about two hours or so from Akron but he is on the vendor list for the Kzoo show. I believe Rose Oak is over by Dayton but I'm not positive on that.

Yes he does but I think he is going to be at Kzoo too. You have to call ahead now before you go to the shop. His number is 440-293-4564. East on 76 out of Akron to 80 East to Rt 11 North to 322.

It would probably take you about 2 hours to get to Bob Morrisons shop. It would definately be worth the drive. Like others have said, he'll probably be in Michigan. Wait a minute, great time to raid his shop!!I'll join you. No really, bad weekend to come to this area with most bowyers going to Michigan.

Your best bet is going to Kzoo. It's a great show with some wonderful seminars. Well worth the drive!
