Camo staining wood on limbs pics?
« on: January 25, 2010, 02:34:00 PM »
Anyone ever tried to stain the limbs in a camo pattern and clear glass over it? just wondering how it would look. Thanks

My limbs are stained a few different colors, not your normal camo colors, but I can take a few pics if you want.

You can spray flat black or satin black on the limbs, then camo with a alighter color using a leaf for a template.  Actually, flat black works well...looks like sticks in the woods.

If I keep my mun ebony Morrison Shawnee riser I'm thinking of getting another set of foam, black glass arapaho limbs and then camo dipping them in Predator deception brown! Would look great on that riser!
