Guru,
I got that shape like you showed from my old friend and mentor Bob Grauberger before he passed away. He and his Dad had used it since the 60's. They called it a Mongol fletch but I don't know if that is a correct term or not. I've always liked it. Stable, quiet and cool looking. Sometimes real wild turkey fletch will buzz a bit but I've never been certain if it was due to the tips at the aft end or from getting the curve too tall in the center. I think it is more likely the height in the center as banana's cut tall buzz worse than anything I've ever used.
