I shot a fox one time, not really sure how he managed it, but he bit the arrow in half before it went completely through. I have killed alot of deer with this bow, 67#@28, all but 2 were a pass thru. I only got about 6" of penetration adn the arrow was bit into 2 pieces. Truly amazing reflexes!

The problem is, you called him a "tree rat!"
That really irritates squirrels and gives them something to prove. No use antagonizing such a vicious beast.....it can be very dangerous.

I bet we would do the same too though. These movies where ppl get shot etc and they just die...don't think so. Somebody shot us in the leg they would have a very dangerous person on their hands i'd bet

I had a badger snap arrows in half, but have not had squirrels do any damage.

I usedto get scratches on my aluminums, but that was about it.....I had one just about turn a wood one into kindling and a carbon was starting to get shredded.
Gophers do the same thing too.

A groundhog will do that too. That and snap them in two going into the hole.
