I have been shooting with a buddy who has only shot compounds. He shot one of my longbows last year, and you could see the gleam in his eye when he did, and now another year has gone, so I thought that he might be susceptible to getting the trad bug. This morning, I was shooting and he stopped by to watch, so I had him shoot a few shots. Although he was pretty badly overbowed with my 56# longbow, he still had a really good time, and we talked quite a bit about what kind of bow he might want to start with to go trad.
Sooo, I was fooling around on the net and looking at Ted Fry's site, and saw a Bear TD 45# for a really good price; went to my buddy, and he ordered the bow along with glove, stringer, etc. He is all fired up. I think we have another trad archer in the making!
