Unknown bow identity....Anyone know?
« on: January 31, 2010, 01:51:00 PM »
The first to get it right will be officially called "smarty pants"

It is a semi-recurve, I guess it is called.  50#@28.  It will surely spit out a 781 gr. arrow with 32.7% UEFOC.

My eyes hurt.
Killdeer ~dumb...   :o   pants.
Long, long afterward, in an oak I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.

I got this bow last June for $40 from a used bow vendor at a 3D shoot.  ZERO limb twist and noise.  Really fun to shoot.  Just haven't known what kind it is.  Thanks

It just reminded me of a bow I saw once that was made by the Wilson Brothers. I think they were pre-BW. They had a small place either in Republic or Marionville Missouri. I know it was in that general vicinity because I used to drive by it weekly as I would travel to Aurora when I was the Safety and Personnel Director for MFA Milling Company. We had two plants and 7 warehouses scattered over sw Missouri and northern Arkansas.
I got the opportunity to travel all over down there quite a bit.
Anyway that was my guess but I couldn't swear that's what it is.
God bless,Mudd
