I went to Kalamazoo Sat. and I was setting at a table by the snack wagon talking to a fine lady. We were talking about Fred Bear and was talking about how great a person he was. There were 2 guys listening to us and they came over and ask if they could talk to us about Fred Bear. They had heard his name but didn't know anything about him. I got to thinking on the way home how many people young and old don't know anything about Fred Bear, Ben Pearson and Howard Hill. Somebody like Traditional Bowhunters Magazine or someone make a video and a written history of these fine gentlemen and others like them that knew these men and hung around them before these people pass on. Our history needs to be kept alive. I got to speak with Fred a few times and he was the most humblest person I have ever met. He was just a common man to the fullest degree. He signed several of my bows I had and our house was broke into and the only things taken were all my bows that Fred signed for me. He was a special person. Mike in Ohio
