Here's a list of the 600 spine shafts, that I'm aware of that accept standard carbon size inserts

15/35 GT Traditional wood
600 GT Entrada
600 Victory Vforce
600 Easton Epic ST

also, Carbon Tech offer a couple different grades of shafts with a 650 spine.

one of the other 600 spined carbons that has me really intrigued...is the new carbon express heritage 75...... again smaller diameter, but heavier weight per inch.....

Rod...im pretty sure the easton epic 600 is a smaller diameter..at least the ones i have are... not sure if theyve changed or not.

Jacob...your right the Epics are smaller...I was thinking more along the lines of standard as in the inserts glued internally in the shaft and you can use standard screw in points and broadheads. I know better than to post in a rush  :)

I just set up some ST Epic 600's for my DAS Master 48@27. They are very nice shafts, and shoot like a dream!

I made these up light for 3D season (300 grains total). They shoot straight and fast.

I could shoot them but I like heavy arrows so I use .500 with 200grains up front.

I use 600 spine on a selfbow that's 50 pounds at 28 inches. They work really well with 100 grain bear razors.
Glad to back in the Good Ole USA!

I shoot GT entrada Ultralight .600. I have a modern mildly R/D longbow. I draw 29". My bow delivers 38# at 29".
Arrows are 30"(full lenght)I use a standard insert (14.6 grains) and a 125 grains fieldpoint. 4 inch helical fletching and wrap. I just ordered the GT weightsystem with wrench because I have the impression sahfts are a little bit to stiff.

dutchman....the gt weight system...or just buy some brass inserts to soften the spine...i bet another 50 grains up front will soften up.

I can't get the brass inserts over here! I have to order them in the US, which makes them way too expensive!

Flying Dutchman, we ship international at very low rates.  A dozen 100 gr inserts would be about $5 shipping to the Netherlands.   :D

Ok, that is good to know SlowBow. Mostly however I make one bigger order, such as shafts, feathers, tips and so on. As soon as we get over the $25,- we have top pay an incredible amount of duties! (I really hate that!)

Thanks guys for all the input.

Tim, I think I will see if I can get a test shaft in the 1535 GT and see how it does until the lighter sppines become available.  I have the 100gr inserts and a bunch of different point weights so we will see.

The Beman MFX 600s come with 75/50 inserts plus I’m pretty sure the 100 gr. brass inserts that 3rivers sales for the Beman shaft will fit in them.
