I had a 54" lil favorite I sold mainly because the weight was alittle heavy for me and I didn't shoot it as well as the lighter weight 54" classic hunter. To me the Lil favorite feels the same as the longbow shrews grip wise. My Lil was faster than my longbow shrews but not as quiet. Overall if you like the shrew longbow there is nothing not to like about the Lil Favorite its a nice bow.

I pulled one at kalamazoo. Very smooth and felt good. I have made one before I actualy saw one and mine shoots great, but is a little differant than shrews.

My favorite bow in the Shrew line. The grip is the same as the longbows....thats the beauty of a Shrew, the grip....I have shot and hunted with all of the Shrew bows, and the Li'l Favorite has been my choice for 3 years.

Mine is 57# @ 28", I pull about 26". It is not very picky about arrows, but I have settled on 2016's with a 200 grain Ace head up front (with a 30 grain screw in adapter).

Mine is a Chameleon, but they have some crazy-beautiful curly birch right now.

Kevin's right about me weighing in. Everything Cody said about the Lil Favorite is true. Actually, I bought his LF from him! I now have three 54" one piece actionboo core LFs and am on the waiting list for a 56" two piece foam core LF. I know that it is Roger's favorite bow. For various reasons I tend to prefer the Classic Hunter longbow, but those reasons are more because of the transportation and physical characteristics of the bows, not because of the performance or shooting characteristics of the bows. I shoot the LF just as well as a CH and the LF is faster than the CH unless carbon backing is added to the CH to make it about the same speed as the LF without carbon.

I agree with Roger that the Shrew grip is as good as it gets. But that is not the only characteristic that sets the LF apart. The LF is also light, short, handy, quick handling, smooth, fairly fast and stack free for those with long draws, especially the newer 56" model. You cannot go wrong with an LF (or a CH either).

Ok Allan:

I now anoint  thee as... SHREWMASTER, can I get a second???  I will be most interested to see your upcoming review of the LF with carbon/foam limbs.

You and Roger have really got me foaming at the bit, but if I order another custom bow this year,  my wife is gonna be on me like a dirty shirt!  I'm a bow maker's dream! LOL.

Allan pointed out the light, quick, handiness of the L'il Favorite (all Shrews really)and he is right. I forget about that, as I haven't hunted with a bow longer than 58" in a LONG time.

Shootabilty is kind of a personal thing, and lots of guys shoot lots of different bows and love them. But for me, I can shoot my LF at any angle, from any position, better than any bow I have used. You might not have that same experience...heck, you might have it with a Black widow or something else.....but I am lucky to know what bow I shoot best.

Enough gushing about my bow. You might love it, you might not. Try and shoot one before you order it. Shoot other bows, shoot other Shrew models. When you grab the one that fits like a glove and shoots where you look, you will know !!   :bigsmyl:
