Recurve Riser to limbs

So what's better???  Long riser w/short limbs--- or Short riser w/long limbs???

I think you will find most will agree short riser/long limbs.

Yep the limbs are what do the work.  Short riser long limbs will out perform the long riser almost every time for the same length bow.

Now a long riser with the same limbs is a good combo too.

I really like our 17" riser with the 58" limbs. Makes a 60" bow that is sweet.

Thanks Guys. It see where some top name bow makers are using 19" risers for 58" and 60". Does that combo give more stability?  But, it sounds like they would loose some performance?
