new bow!
« on: February 06, 2010, 01:16:00 PM »
Here's my new Spirit recurve, which arrived yesterday:

56 lbs. @ 28", 58" long, & shoots really nice. These seem to be underrated bows that aren't as well-known as many others. Check them out at RMS Gear.

Yeah, pretty smooth with little hand shock, even with light arrows. I need to work up to the 56 lbs. because I'm used to shooting 51, but it doesn't really stack. The arrows seem to hit hard, but I still need to figure out what spine to use. The riser isn't cut all the way to centershot, probably because this bowyer seems to make more longbows than recurves.
