Whoa, help me out now, is that some type of dominance thing going on there?  I've never seen even a picture of a turkey puffed out with his topside up like that.  Or is it just the angle of the photo?

Thanks again Mickey for my daily fix....  :archer:

David they do that all the time, I have dozens of photos oof birds in this state of puffiness. I'm not sure if it's due to a level of excitement, or a subordinance stance.

Youth tomorrow Mike and adults get to hunt starting Monday.

David, it has to do a lot with the position of the tail too.  I know Primos has a new turkey decoy out where you use a real turkey fan and you can set it in two positions straight up , or leaned back on an angle. They say in their ad on TV that the leaned back position is a "less aggressive" position.

Thanks Mickey, I think it's the angle in the first pic that got my attention, I can see it now in the other pics.

(technically I don't know. Two I think. I buy one tag each year, more of a donation to the ODNR than anything else, but it does allow me to chase them.)    ;)
