They are a pretty durable shaft and they are wood grain so thats a plus also.

I have shot them and still have 5 left from a dozen, mine I can always hear as I draw them back, no matter what rest I use. Some people have mentioned using that tire stuff on them to quite them down, I have not tried that yet. They are a nice shaft and the wood grain is appealing.
