I really appreciate the comments. It's especially nice to hear compliments from those who do this for a living like Apex and swampmaster. To encourage an amateur like me shows class and exactly why I appreciate sites like Trad Gang.

Anyone who has gone through the process to read up on bow building, make the forms and heat box, buy the essential materials, gather the tools, and then make a successful working bow has to appreciate the guy's that do this for a living. Let me tell you, they ain't gettin rich. You've  just got to love building bows. You put a little of yourself into each bow that leaves the shop.

I'm fortunate to have a trade background so I have most of the essential stuff on hand or can easily build it. This bow does shoot exceptionally well, at least IMO. It's my 5th longbow and I wish I had the time to make a lot more. Problem is, the house needs some work and that's next on the list as the snow starts to melt.
The scent of Autumn is like food to the hunters soul.
