morrison shooters have a question
« on: April 20, 2007, 09:43:00 PM »
I noticed a lot of morrison limbs for sale or trade on the classified. I have a question about this. I know Bobs newer risers are interchangeable with the newer limbs. Does anyone know if a riser that was made in late 2002 would match up with the newer limbs?

shield cut,
You can double check with Bob, but I have the old take down recurve, which is now called the cheyenne and both the old style limbs as well as the new limbs should all interchange, if I am not mistaken. The Shawnee limbs and risers are their own and will not change with the old takedown or cheyenne as it is called now, again, if I ma not mistaken ??? The limbs for the Shawnee are Arapaho for recurve and dakota for longbow.

Bob's older recurve risers will take Cheyenne limbs and vice versa. Definately call Bob and ask him his advice.

I have asked Bob Morison this question and the newer cheyenne limbs work with the older TD recurve, they newer limbs are reported to be a few fps faster, con not remember how much though. NoCams is correct in the shawnee has its own limbs not compatible with the TD recurve/cheyenne.

HI....I have a set of Bob's new limbs on a 2001 TD riser and they fit as good as if they were made for each other today....Bob's new limb's can be described by one word "AWESOME".....the new limbs are why I am selling the original limbs for my 2001 riser....nobody does snake skins better than Bob
