Need some new arrow help
« on: February 16, 2010, 09:20:00 PM »
I am awaiting spring time here so I can finally get out and shoot some gophers again. The problem is that I lost/broke most of my arrows in this same endeavor last year and the year before. They were Beman ICS 500's, shot from my old Bear Grizzly 52# recurve. They had brass inserts and 175gr heads, although lighter ones shot good too. I can't find the heavy brass inserts anywhere local, which means I'll have to order them in. I figure if I can't get the arrows made up locally I may as well order them complete.
WHo has good prices on arrows and ships to Canada, or perhaps there's some Canadian dealers? I need 2-3 dozen and am nor picky about the brand. The Bemans were good, shot very well but a bit fragile. Is there anything in a comparable price range that is as good?
