Lurking in the shadows

Some of you might have noticed that I have started posting on the Gang a lot lately. You can tell by my registration number that I have lurked around in the shadows for years off and on. I have sold things on here in the past and bought some.

Recently I tried to post a bow and found out I could not because I never had enough posts. After e-mails I found they had changed the rules. After several e-mails  and comments I discovered their side. That they didn't know me and I had never posted much here.

To make a long story short I really started reading all the post on Pow Wow and discovered I could learn from all the good info on here and also share some info from mistakes I have made after 20 some years of bow hunting.

So let me introduce myself.

I can relate Elmer.  

I have been a member since 2003 also and had just a hand full of posts although I come to this site at least twice a day, every day.  I have been bowhunting for almost 35 years and I consider myself still learning.  I use this site to shorten my learning curve on a new idea.    

You can't replace experience or time in the field on a website. But I have learned many things.

A long time ago, my grandfather told me you have six holes in your head to receive information and one hole to transfer information.  What should you be spending most of your time doing?  

From one lurker to another, I am glad that you re-introduced yourself.

Welcome.  Never posted too much, until lately.  Have to have something worth sharing, so I didn't do too much of that.
I do reach alot of folks needing IBEP course.  I do enjoying sharing what I learn in the courses.  I've been teaching the IBEP course for over 20 yrs. and still learn something at everyone.

Well it's good to see you here. I am one of thoughs people that lurks in the shadows with most things in life,not much of a fan of the genral puplic. In fact I would probaly could become a hermit real easy. I started coming here when I switched back to traditional style equipment. I thought that I could learn some new tactics and mainly to improve my computer and writing skills. Well my writing and computer still suck(just read my posts) but I gained better veiw of the hunting commuity and learned alot more that I thought I could after 25+ years of archery. I had lost faith in most people until I came to this campfire.

I was a lurker for a long time, didn't even join till I retired. There's alot of good stuff on here and some not. Just sort out the things your intrested in and enjoy.I'm also 57 almost 58 and worked for GE for 38 years. Great not have to go to work every day........
