I Shoot one. For me it's the best bow I ever had: Super smooth, no hand shock, BigJim made the grip according to my request, love it!

On top of that dealing with BigJim is a real pleasure

Shot a few of Jim's bows at the TBOF Fall Rendezvous, all were great shooters. Will most likely be buying one of his display bows or ordering one at the TBOF shoot this March 5th-7th.

Don't hesitate, if you want a shooter that is well made and good looking too, You can't go wrong with Big Jim. Plus he's a great individual on top of everything else!

One of the best looking quality made bows Ive ever had for sure , very smooth and plenty fast but the bow for some reason did not fit my style of shooting . It had noting to do with the bow though , it was very nice but some bows just do not fit everyone the same . Its always best to try one if you can .

I'm not much help to you because I've never shot or layed hands on one, but I have a 1pc that'll be finished in a couple weeks and I'm on the list for a take-down.  Big Jim is a great guy to deal with and is very knowledgeable and patient.  I know he's patient because this was my first custom order and I've changed the wood, the weight, and asked for special overlays.  Jim has worked with me the whole time to make sure the bow is exactly what I want.  That's why it was easy to put my name back on the list for a take-down.

Bought some arrows and a side quiver from Jim at ATAR. Great guy to deal with , reasonable prices and really outstanding woods . Shot his longbow and it had great grained exotic woods , smooth shooting and very fast. Only thing is I like a 3 piece longbow [ weight ,  riser grip and mass]. He just started making those so will check them out in July. Roy
Maybe it is time to shoot what I have on the rack

Well I just got a Buffalo bow in the mail today that I traded for and it looks alot like Manny's at the top.  It's 62" one piece 50#@28" and I gotta say I'm very glad I have another one piece and a 2pc on the way.  It draws very smooth, shoots fast, and is quiet and dead in the hand.  I couldn't be happier!!!!

Gordy- I make LB's out to 66"s. I have been talked into a 68" but don't know why. Where in Mn are you? I grew up near St. Cloud.

Guys,  you're not going to find a lot of feed back on the TC or the Three piece. there are just not enough out there yet. I will tell you that if you don't like them I'd be really surprised. I personaly have never been much on short bows or three pieces, but can find nothing bad to say about them.
