Decoy setup for turkeys?

1 jake 2 hens, or tom 2 hens,or no decoy's etc... I've heard people having younger tom's spook with big tom decoy's. I'm not looking to kill the boss just a decent bird. Plus I like to move when I turkey hunt, so I don't want to be stuck in a blind!  So what's your setup? Thank's, Jason

A jake and two hens or just a few hens.  I killed my biggest two birds with no decoys.  One spot and stalk in a group of 7( 2 gobblers and 5 hens), and one I had cutoff from the hens he was headed toward.  When I have a good size area to work by myself I will use the decoys early, but love being aggressive and going after them come mid-morning!

Ghillie,I only bow hunt you I set up behind a hill if I can.If I have to use a decoy DEFFENTLY a jake and hen.I like two hens.Struting decoys only work on the boss gobblers or really agressive birds.To many lesser gobblers that a scared off.
 Here's the ticket very few people do this.It only takes one time of someone spooking a gobbler with a decoy.Everyone sets there decoys up the same.Jake close to the hens.So try spreading your decoys out 5,10 yards apart.Gobblers are'nt use to seeing this.Lots of birds aren't as spooked when they see your decoy.
