Must be in Texas someplace

You know with his shoes off and pants rolled up, and feet wet, and bow laying about 6 feet away....this is the perfect time for a javie to cross the sendero    :biglaugh:

That's the 2007 Opening Pic for my Texas Sweat webpage. I think the pic captures the essence of each days hunt. There certainly wasn't anything easy about that hunting terrain. Great pic fer sure! CK

Just goes to show that the life of Riley ain't bad at all! Those little moments that we savor in a hunt, a little comfort indulged and the unique surroundings taken in...those are just as important, if not more so, than the critters that fill our dreams. Great pic. But those FEET!!  :scared:

And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.

Mel,
If I'd been on that hunt I'd have had my dogs in there with yours, man!!!! Nothing makes you feel better than a change of socks on any hunt..unless its cooling your dogs off BEFORE you change those socks!!!!!!

I'd say that's a tactic borne of wisdom, right there.
“Courageous, untroubled, mocking and violent-that is what Wisdom wants us to be. Wisdom is a woman, and loves only a warrior.” - Friedrich Nietzsche

I can see the javie coming a couple of yards away, the scramble for the bow, maybe finding a fire ant hill or two........  :)    :bigsmyl:
